What is your current obsession?
Activity wise, shopping. Fashion wise, tapered pants! Been craving and hunting for one.

What is your horoscope & do you relate to it?
I don't believe in zodiacs, horoscopes or whatever they call it. So I definitely do not relate to it.

What are you wearing today?
A vintage pinky peach knitted top with the usual black skinnies paired with a grey ballerinas. I'm working, so nothing fancy.

What is the last thing you bought?
Rafaella grey blazer and No Boundaries denim jacket.

What do you think about the person who tagged you?
Someone who is good in expressing her feelings into writings.

Venice, in need of some place peaceful and slow.

'That's the thing'. Mom's favourite quote LOL. I had fried rice btw.

Victorians and the Regencies. Amazing detailings.

Floral dresses, cropped tops, floppy hats, anything denim and strappy sandals.

What would you love to be able to afford?
Basically, everything I can't. Precisely, a lappie and an N96, at the mo.

What is your favorite piece of clothing from your own wardrobe?
MNG cocktail dresses and my newly purchased grey blazer.

Karl's position in Chanel or maybe Nicolas' in Balenciaga.

What's your favorite magazine?
Vogue/Harper's Bazaar, celeb gossip mags.

What do you consider a fashion faux pas?
Glittery/Embroided denims, velvets on a casual day, breaching the delicate 'style against maturity' sense, tattooed eyeliners and eyebrows.

Describe your personal style:
Definitely not trashy or masculine. I love neatness, clean cuts, feminism & laidback-ness injected into my style.

Which Beatle is your favorite?
John Lennon even though I don't really fancy him much. Just his songs.

What are you proud of?
My family, and my achievements to date and years to come. Gotta have faith!

Kokomo, Locomo

I tried to make my outfit today look 'resort-esque' and this was the outcome of it. Not the clearest pictures and I apologise for the poor resolution images. I took shots of these on that gloomy Sunday. There are more of those blurry images coming up as I took a few shots on that day cos that's the only Sunday where I could laze around the house. So I hope all of you could bare with me for awhile. Anyway, I found an earring which I bought a few years back and I thought it kind of goes well with this resort look I'm chanelling. Plus, I'm finally debuting the wedge I bought after the so-over-it -chaotic-trip to the city.

I will probably be slightly occupied next week but I'll try to keep 'em posts posted :) Have a nice week everyone! And a HUGE thank you to those who have been faithfully visiting/leaving comments on my blog. Not forgetting those who'd just bumped into this blog. ♥ Hearts to all!

Rainy Days And Sundays

Decided to go minimal with the accessories due to the gloomy weather. My sisters and I went for some retail therapy, yeah again, but we only spent on necessities like bodycare products, stuff like that. Oh, wait a sec. I think I bought a pair of sunnies from MNG. Great. How can I missed that? It's of a round shape and it has this John Lennon vibe. Will try to feature it in my future post. And btw, I have finally gotten my hair shortened and I am loving the new length.

I'm not in the best of mood today. Definitely not the certain time of the month, if you know what I mean. It's probably because I haven't been getting my 8 hours of sleep lately. I never did anyway.

With the extra time I have now, I decided to share with you some of the things or places I've loved for almost all my life and nothing makes me happier than sharing it with all my readers and those who happen to come across my blog :)

1.) The Beach House - Been dreaming of having a house by the seaside since I was a kid. I love the splashing sound of the waves hitting the shore and the non-stopping wind. If I were to ever own one in the future, I would want it all white with a tinge woody brown with lots of windows, with an extra room where I can draw, paint and even sew.

2.) Paris - It's so, Ratatouille (the movie). Dreamy.

3.) Venice - My dream vacation spot. Been wanting to give it a visit since I got to know the existance of Italian football. It doesn't seem to make any sense, right? Long story short, I used to have a crush on an Argentinian footballer during the World Cup of 2002 and after much tracking down (stalking on footballers was my favourite past time), I found out he was also playing for an Italian football club, Internazionale. And from there, I went on to discover the existance of this really beautiful place called Venice.

4.) Wet Brick Road - I love streets made of bricks. Being wet is a plus point. Think Anna Nalick's Catalyst or any songs from Chris Botti and you'll get what I mean.

5.) Chicken Pesto Pasta - Something me and a friend of mine liked to chow down on back when we were at University. However, the pesto at my university was so inconsistenly flavoured with too much salt today and too much oil the next, got me doubting to rate it as the best. My sister, Rebecca went on to improvise this recipe and got me addicted plus rating it THE BEST ever since.

6.) Oreo Cookies - Double stuffed cream without the twisting, licking and dunking please. A lil seperation of the layers are fine. Why complicate it with those three unnecessary steps?

7.) Starbucks' Chocolate Cream Frappis - Almost heavenly.

8.) Secret Recipe's Chocolate Indulgence - My family's favourite occasions cake, be it birthdays, Christmas or the 'I-feel-like-eating-a-cake' cakes. I love moist cakes, you know those which glides down your oesophagus easily and don't suck up all your saliva? Yeah, this is definitely one of them.

9.) Autumn leaves - The grass is ALWAYS greener on the other side, and so are the leaves :)

10.) Who Moved My Cheese - I wouldn't have given it a go if it wasn't for my sister. The only book I read besides investigational story books which I love to read in my early teens. Extremely motivational and helps me to cope with changes of life. I love reading things which relates to the human psychology or behaviour/attitude. I love books which make me think and realize something but have yet to find a time to find one. Any suggestion?

These are only a few of the things I heart which I could think of at the mo. I will do another compilation some other time of some other things I like. I hope all of you had fun reading this :)

Remember my previous post about meeting an old friend of mine over a cuppa Starbucks? Yes, this was what I had on and I apologise for the common combo and the late post. Well, come think of it, I never mention anything about doing an outfit post for that day. LOL. Anyway, a few days after, I discovered this pretty lil thing from a local boutique and although it was quite costly, I bought it anyway. There goes my money again. I actually did an outfit post for that shoe but it was terrible. I couldn't bare letting you guys witnessing such horrendous outift. Hideous combination. Urgh. Soon, you have my word :)

ps: I wanna start wearing those things I splurged on cos they're all stacking up in my closet, begging me to wear 'em. My July's resolution!

Yep. I ended up getting only leg exercises but I also managed to keep my shopaholic addiction at bay which was good for my wallet. My other sister refrained herself from going with us to curb her shopaholic ways. Gee. That was extreme, wasn't it?

It's kind of embarrassing to take my own picture, but what the hell right?

Real Slim Shreddy

I've been wanting to do a trend report on all things shredded but it took me such a long time to do so coz of the very limited time I have in a day. I know it has been circulating for quite awhile and I'm a lil back-dated on this. Anyway, so here it is.

Everyone seems to be wearing it everywhere that it makes me feel there's something wrong with my jeans coz they are not homeless looking. At the same time, I didnt wanna shred the jeans I have mainly due to the fact that fashion comes & goes and when it goes, the shreds are not something reversible and I would be stuck with holes all over my favourite jeans. I guess I'll just be an observer and not a follower in this case.
In the mean time, pardon me, I want to drool over these shreddy style. Oh, anyone who needs a lil help on shredding, there's always my family dog, Raven to help cos she's really gooood at it. Trust me.

Do you sometimes feel, that your life is about blogging instead of blogging being about your life? I have been feeling that way lately and that explains the lack of posts. Anyway, I am waiting in anticipation for this Sunday where I will be spending half the day watching the seven miniseries of Generation Kill. Back to back. Yay for me :) Tonight on the other hand, I thought I'd hit the mall with my sisters after work for some retail therapy session or maybe just strolling around for some leg exercise. We need that. Seriously.
