Okay. I have to admit that this, is so not me. I would never wear something like this out. Not even out of my room. No offense, I like the tanks but I know this is not my kind of style. But, I guess, it wont hurt to at least try it on, right? Anyway, this was the F21 tanks I purchased during my trip. It was slashed 70% and felt I would be a dumbo if I were to go back home without it. Shoes are just inspired versions, not even F21. LOL. But they are uber-comfy.
And, oh, I've been tagged by Fashion Slam and I don't really know why but do check her out as she has some really nice pictures featured in her blog, which I find inspiring :) Quickie link here.

Temptations, At Large

I wanted to do a post on my two days trip to visit my besties from college but am not too sure if they'll approve of having their Jpegs posted here. And I'm definitely not thinking of pixelating their faces - It's, rude. Anywayss, they took me to a whole lot of shopping malls and eateries. One of those being a place where we had our lunch, called Thai Thai Restaurant and I must say, I was impressed by the interior décor. It was very classy for a place which serves authentic Thai foodies. There were chandliers and shelves, and even willow branches, somewhat like a Western Cuisine restaurant. The food was top notch, especially the one I had which was introduced by Sara (top pic), my bestie who knows I'm a sucker for Tomyam/Laksa. Perfect. Jasmine, another good friend of mine, had Green Curry with rice.

Both my besties had been far too kind to me that I felt the need to blog it down here. On the second day of our trip, I was feeling nausea and dizzy all of a sudden and gosh, they bought me a Starbucks tea and walked around the mall just to get me a Panadol Actifast and some sour flavoured Mentos candies. Now, where in the world could you find friends like that? I was touched and guilty at the same time. I was basically, spoilled. Love you girls!

These are some of the few things I bought. Except for the turquoise wristlet which wasn't purchased during my trip. I also managed to grab a tee and slinky tanks from F21, a pair Cotton On flats for myself, managed to squeeze in another 3 pairs for my sisters and mom as well, and two bags from local mall Sg Wang. Not much cos I've spent way too much before my trip. Somebody please help me put a full stop on shopping. It's becoming an obsession!

Coveting the Doc.

My latest obsession is apparently the sort of backdated but yet evergreen, Doc Martens boots. Perfect for the rainy/monsoon season here. They are versatile, can be worn with a really nice floral dress, and even skinny pants for a more masculine look. The best unisex pair of shoes ever. Can't wait to get my hands on them (:

(Blazer & Knuckle Ring from CastelleClothing, white oversized tanks, thrifted panel skirt, Vincci rings, Nose heels & fringed necklace, ɔc-inspired bag)

The entry title is actually something me and my sisters referred to as open wounds. You know the pinkish exposed flesh? Anyway, trying my hands on night photography here and these are the results. Kind of amateur, I must say.
The blazer was originally studded with gold studs along the lapel but, I felt there was too much of it which makes it hard to pair with clothes of colours other than grey, black or white and I trying to avoid wearing too much of black. I need colours. Besides, the studs are too, 'organized'.
Taking them out was a piece of cake too :)
Thank you and a big hug to those who had left comments and suggestions in reply to my enquiry below! I guess, all I need is more practice, obviously no short cuts. More suggestions are definitely welcomed. Have a fruitful day ahead xx

Crust and Dust

I was supposed to refrain myself from buying anything this evening, as I have been quite of a shopaholic these days, BUT I ended up buying a fringed necklace instead. I tried asking myself 'Do I need this??' and the answer was always 'Yes'. I was supposed to be saving up some cash for an all girls trip with my besties and they've promised to bring me to the coolest place to shop in town! I so can't wait :)
By the way, I've managed to parade the whole of a mall, strapped in these new babies and I have gotta admit that it was a painful experience. My arch was literally stretched to its maximum level. I wonder how those fashion people out there did it. Mind sharing? Cos I'm desperately in need of some useful tips to work it like a pro.

I Like 'Em Boys ..and Girls

Last week, as I was going thru my mailbox, I was thrilled to have came across an invitation mailed to me as one of the guest list for the opening reception of the East London Boys / Photos by Jacopo J Moschin.
(Whispering: Frankly, I've never heard of this guy and am not intending to act smart by claiming that I do)
Anyone, by any chance, received the same invitation too?
Anyway, being a nosey person, which I'm normally not, I googled this guy and was enchanted by the quality of his work - And as I'm still utterly speechless now, I'm gonna let the pictures do all the talking.

What do you think?
The illustrous event will be held in Milan, which seems impossible for me at the moment. So, I'm gonna have to give it a pass :(
As for Mr Jacopo for his kind invitation, THANK YOU so much for it is an honour to be invited and to be even recognized by you. My best wishes for your career, and future undertakings!

(Random maxi and bangles, vintage owl necklace from online boutique, Vincci accessories)

Had a coupla drinks with my high school bestie weeks ago at Noodle Station. I recalled always being a lone ranger back then and he would always be around hence making me appeared accompanied.
Updates updates. Yeah, got my hair chopped as well and ended up getting clip-on extensions soon after, only to realize that I actually loved my hair the way it is. Speaking of indecisiveness, I am the living proof. Pff.

Stranded

wormbangle-1
Random bangle purchased online

What a relief. I've managed to get my job done before the deadline and with this extra time I have, why not a lil updating over here? That's a snapshot of my not-so-recently bought bangles, which I really love. For some reason, I kept typing the word Bangles as Bagles.

I also love Beef Noodles or in chinese, Ngau Lam Meen. This morning I had a bowl of it and I particularly loved the Kon Loh ones, meaning the dried version. I like them with lotsa black soy sauce, so I kind of edited the picture thus making it slightly darker in shade.
Not much of an update, ain't it? I'm feeling less of a fashionista lately and it has always been me and my work lately, so definitely no outifty pictures coming up. But hey, at least I managed to get some pics and words posted here right? (:
