I've always wanted a friendship bracelet, one might call it, or perhaps a braided bracelet, hardware finished, precisely nuts - Because I like it a little 'complicated'. And I got one. The best part is, it's a gift from my thoughtful sister (thank you). It will definitely be on my wrist from now on! ♥
Now, some of you might have known that my sisters and I share a really close bond. And the second I heard they were planning a trip down to my place, I was beyond thrilled! So, last weekend I had a lovely, fruitful time with Rebecca (Ivy spent hers with the bf) doing a quick round of shopping which was a last minute deviation from our actual plan, surrendering ourselves from the idea of resisting the who-could-resist Zara sale. We had our lunch at a nearby Kenny's Roasters as an alternative after discovering that Las Carretas was closed. As sick as this may sound, we napped after that heavy lunch and when it was time for my sisters to leave, I bidded them with goodbyes and left feeling their presence still lingering.
ps: Thank you for the warm & supportive comments received in my previous post! I'm so blessed to have such lovely readers like all of you here ♥
After much consideration and countless product review read-ups, I finally decided to indulge in a peach shade lippie by Revlon. I think it has the closest peach shade I've been wanting all along. I love that it's super moist and just a few dabs are all it takes. According to a feedback in makeupalley.com, a site I never fail to stop by before splurging on any cosmetics and such, it says to lightly conceal your lips before applying the lipstick to get the best of its peachy shade. I have yet to try it but it definitely made sense.
I couldn't believe myself when I walked out that store with this dress. I was literally speechless with half worries and half bliss in my mind. By the time I got home, I was in total bliss when my family gave nods of approval to how it looked and even my brother commented that it was gorgeous. I somehow managed to convince myself, money is earnable if such word exists. No worries but still, sigh. Anyway, this is a sneak peak of my outfit for a friend's wedding dinner, this month's end which has to be purple themed. After trying on several serious looking, figure complementing, elegant pieces, including turning down this flouncy piece here recommended by Rebecca, I finally decided to give it a go. To my surprise, I was amazed at how it turned out to be! Furthermore, it HAS purple, well underneath that pile of nudes that is. It took me a week to consider the should I and should I nots before finally settling for it.
Rebecca has definitely an eye for good stuff :)
Now time to crack my head for matching hairstyle and make-up. Help?

Being reunited with my best friends from college was definitely one of the best events before the year ends. We had lots of fun taking pictures, catching up, eating feasting, and going from shops to shops. We spent most of our day at Midvalley Megamall and The Gardens, which has very beautiful decor all the way through - Nothing like here, at all. Not that I'm complaining either. Sara's birthday was the day after this outing and so we had a mini birthday dinner at Ikea Food Court and gosh, their Swedish meatballs were heavenly! Too bad there weren't pictures of it because my camera battery died halfway through. Great. Overall, we had an awesome day-till-night-out, and we even exchanged presents - I got my early presents too (Thank you so much Sara and Jasmine for the lovely lovely gifts!) and I'll find time to compile them into a post very soon. Okay, off to my purchases. Shopping restrictions implemented, I only got myself a hearts mesh tights, and a cardigan at the very last minute. Boo, but I'm proud of myself for still having some self control LOL. What a way to put it.
So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY Sara, still hoping you like the simple gift (:
I'm back, back, back! Pictures to be uploaded soon, as I'm still catching up with life, back in the comfort of my home (:
Note: The bag is one of my other vintage purchases and I love every bit of it. I got it way before the FAITH post below. So technically, I did not break it but I might have, with my other, well, erm recent, purchases -- Pff, I kind of blew it BUT there's definitely no giving up!
I travelled around 300 miles again with my sisters and a friend and did some shopping to spend the weekend. Among my purchases are the late double connecting rings, both from F21. Got myself a necklace from Diva as well cos it was darn cheap and also thrifted some gold coloured watches, finally. I think it's official that I'm a little addicted to gold.
