RUN-DOWN

ph. by mutemode
(jumpers/milktee, tights/random, clogs/online, bag/nightingale, armor ring/diva)

I'm not in love with my clogs so much that I'm always seen wearing them. They are extremely comfortable and certainly need no bending downs, zipping, buckling or strapping ups etc. And they give a lil extra something to a plain outfit like this one here. It basically solidify an outfit with that block or chunk of wooden platforms. I'm so into knitted jumpers lately and I particularly love that this one is intentionally ripped at the back. To break the stereotypical thoughts that sweaters/jumpers are meant to be warm and cozy-ly styled, I paired it with a liquid tights and an armor ring instead, which gave a bolder and edgier dimension to the whole outfit. However, it would be so much better if I were to have them paired with a pants instead of tights. Not forgetting to mention, the Nightingale was a great catch and I was so blessed to able to own one. Speaking of authencity, I highly doubt it is The Nightingale. For a modest me, a replica would do just good.

And if you could spot my youngest sister Pauline in one of the pictures, oh yes, she was very patient indeed to join in the so-called, photoshoot. I enjoyed having her around. Anyway, New Year is just around the corner. Have you got your resolutions ready? If you have, mind sharing? :)

i love your intentional sentences about a look. it makes the outfit so much more than just an 'outfit', and how you thought of all that is quite inspiring for me.
anyways, love the jumper. and the clogs
